NAIJAFOOTBALLPLUS WEEKLY PREDCTIONS:

Niger Tornadoes VS  Kano Pillars

Home win, GG

Kano Pillars will come out sweating on their home loss against Akwa United last weekend. The odds favours the Kano boys to get a goal at the Lokoja Confluence Stadium against Niger Tornadoes who are very strong at home. Tornadeos have won their last six matches in Lokoja. This pile of home wins have taken them to fourth position on the log. Bank on them to get a victory against pillars who have been so unenterprising away from home this campaign, getting just two points away from home in the last five away matches.

Eyimba Vs Remo Stars

Home win, Under 2.5

The Aba boys will take all three points in this very low scoring encounter. Having managed to get 25 points in 18 matches, no one will rule out this former champions as title contenders. Remo Stars lost on matchday 18 against Sunshine Stars in the Western Derby. They have been so poor on the road so far, managing to get just two points from their last six away matches. They are currently sitting 19th on the log making them one of the relegation threatened team.

Plateau United Vs Katsina United

Home win, Over 2.5

The title chasers will surely need to prove a point in this very interesting encounter between a team that have been so poor on the road. Kastina United have only managed to get just one point and a single goal in their last six away matches. The home team is just two points behind leaders MFM and will do everything possible to overturn that deficit this weekend by securing a huge win at the Rwang Pam Stadium, Jos.

Akwa United Vs MFM

Home win, GG, Over 2.5

The Olukoya Boys have failed to score in just four of their past 18 matches this season, meaning they have been very consistent in getting the goals both home and away. Count on them to get a goal against Akwa United that have kept just two clean sheets in their last six home matches. The home team will surely get all three points in this encounter at the nest of champions in Uyo.

Abia Warriors Vs Wikki Tourists

Home win, Under 2.5

Wikki Tourists are bad travelers so far this season. They have not picked up a single point in their last six away matches so far this season. Abia Warriors should  keep it tight and strong by grabbing all three points at the Umuahia Township Stadium. Wikki have only managed to pick up all three points in Umuahia on only one occasion and that was way back in 2015 which ended up 2-1 in favour of Wikki. Lets brace up for a low scoring encounter here

Ifeanyi Uba Vs Shooting Stars

Home win, Over 2.5

This particular fixture produced four goals last season ending in a 3-1 triller which gave Ifeanyi Uba all three points. Shooting Stars have not managed to get a single point at the Ifeanyi Uba International Stadium Nnewi, having played there twice and lost all. The home team are on a very good form now having won four of their last six matches so far and also dropping just one point against Abia Warriors in their last six games.

Lobi Stars Vs Sunshine Stars

Draw, Under 2.5

Sunshine Stars will be basking in the euphoria of their emphatic derby win against Remo stars and get something out of this low scoring encounter. Lobi Stars so far this season have dropped points at home against Kastina United Nasarawa United and FC Ifeanyi Ubah which all ended in stalemates. Lets expect another stalemate result at Markudi.

Gombe United Vs Rangers

Home win, Under 2.5

Expect the reigning NPFL champions’ woes to continue at the Pantami Township Stadium, Gombe when they return from Zambia. This fixture is scheduled for Thursday and the flying Antelopes who have managed to win just three home matches so far this season are on course to lose this encounter against the Gombe boys that have always kept it tight at home by getting all three points in four of the last six matches at Gombe.
