Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side Kwara United have announced that they have parted ways with its technical adviser John Obuh after only 12 rounds of matches gone in the league.
Kwara United media officer Abdul Waheed Bibire on Monday in a club statement revealed the Afonja Warriors and the former Flying Eagles coach have agreed to end their relationship having reached a mutual agreement.
The club statement reads: “The management of Kwara United has mutually agreed to path ways with it’s Technical Adviser John Obuh following the not too impressive performance of the club in the NPFL.”

Kwara United are placed bottom of the 20-team NPFL table with 11 points from 12 matches. They have conceded the most number of goals (16) in the division.

The club statement also revealed plans of naming a new “substantive technical adviser” is already in motion.
Naijafootballplus.com sources understands that former Niger Tornadoes coach, Abubakar Bala, is favourite to be named as the new technical adviser of the Ilorin based club. The new coach will be unveiled on Wednesday.
