NPFL: Tornadoes new management sack technical crew


Few weeks to the commencement of the new NPFL season, the newly inaugurated Niger Tornadoes management have sacked the entire technical crew.

The new management which was inaugurated on Thursday morning, began their official functions by inspecting Bako Kontagora stadium Minna, and decided to relief the technical crew of the team led by coach Abubakar Bala of their duties.

The team gaffer, Bala confirmed his sack, “Alhamdulilah! Alhamdulilah! Alhamdulilah!. I have just been sacked from my position as the Technical Adviser of Niger Tornadoes. I’m indeed grateful to you for the opportunity, blessings and successes” he said.

The management on their side said, “Any of the sacked technical crew can reapply if they so wish”.

Bala took charge of the team, when Abdulahi Biffo was relieved of his duties.

They survived relegation by mere whiskers and became runner up in the Aiteo cup final losing to Akwa United via penalty.

Niger Tornadoes will open their season against newly promoted Kwara United on January 14, 2018.
