NPFL transfer window to close tonight

Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) 2017/18 first transfer window will close tonight Naijafootballplus.com understands.

The first transfer window for the new league season will shutdown tonight, according to the League Management Company (LMC) and information from FIFA Transfer Matching System office.

The first NPFL transfer window opened 14 September, 2017 and the window have ran for two months.

Naijafootballplus.com exclusive gathered from LMC and FIFA TMS office that the second NPFL transfer window will open on the 1st of February, 2018 while the window will close on the 3rd of March, 2018.

Barely, one month to the new NPFL season, the transfer window will shut down on Tuesday night. Some club officials have protested to the LMC to extend the window to allow clubs complete registration of their new players.

“We hope the LMC will extend the transfer window at least by one week, a lot of clubs are still negotiating with new players,” said the source to Naijafootballplus.com.

LMC sources told Naijafootballplus.com that the league body might extend
the window.
