Organisers of the Nigeria Professional Football League, League Management Company (LMC) has officially opened the 2016-17 NPFL mid-season transfer window, naijafootballplus.com can report.
The NPFL mid-season transfer window opened on April 1st and clubs have begun their attempts to boost their squads heading into the second round of the season.
All 20 NPFL teams have until April 30 to complete all their deals. Champions Rangers International, Rivers United, Wikki Tourists and newly promoted club side Remo Stars are expected to get involve in the transfer business, while other clubs might decide to strengthen their squad. As usual there will be plenty of business done throughout the month.
The NPFL has reached the business end of the first round with Matchday 17 fixtures today (Sunday). The season is expected to embark on a mid-season break after Matchday 19 matches on April 16.
