Nwakali injured again in Scottish cup semi final


Returnee Super Eagles midfielder Chidiebere Nwakali  got injured again on Saturday as Motherwell thrashed Aberdeen in the Scottish cup Semi Final.

Nwakali who has just returned from his parent club Manchester city where he went to for treatment missed the last two games for the club.

The absence of three key players, Shinnie, McClean and Logan meant the former Sognhal player started the game as a central midfielder.

The game started well with Aberdeen dominating possession and stamping their authority on the game.

Chidiebere Nwakali had a shot at goal when he fired a shot over the bar in the 27th minute but had to be substituted by Gary Makay-Steven after he injured his ankle in the 42nd minute.

The team was two goals down before Nwakali was substituted courtesy Main and Bowman after he subbed off Motherwell took over the possession and Main completed his brace in the 66th minutes and ended the 3-0.

The extent of Nwakali injury has not been revealed but Aberdeen has crashed out of the FA cup
