Injured Super Eagles midfielder Chidiebere Nwakali has returned to Hampden park the home of Aberdeen FC from Manchester City.

The skilful midfielder returned to his parent club Manchester City last week to treat an injury sustained while in action for Aberdeen.

Before joining the Scottish side the former junior international played for Norwegian top flight side Sognhal.

Nwakali might return to action as early as  Saturday for the Scottish FA cup semi final clash with Motherwell, following injury and suspension that have seen three players ruled out.

The player posted the picture of his Aberdeen return on his instagram page with inscriptions.

” Back and stronger looking forward to Saturday.” #Hampdenherewelcome #ScottishcupSemiFinal.

Nwakali was invited for an international friendly against Argentina but was omitted for the last two clashes against Poland and Serbia.
