In Germany, former U-17 record goal scorer Victor Osimhen was an unused substitute for Wolfsburg who took a slim 1-0 advantage over Eintracht Braunschweig in the first leg of Bundesliga qualification playoffs on Thursday night.
Wolfsburg will wait till Monday when the return leg takes place to see if they will remain in the German top flight, and Nigerian young star Victor Osimhen will hope to get a chance to help his team avoid an embarrassing relegation.
