NWPL: Sunshine Queens in Calabar for first away game


Table toppers Sunshine Queens FC of Akure will on Thursday lock horns with Pelican Stars of Calabar in a week 3 NWPL fixture at the UJ Esuene Stadium Calabar.

The match earlier scheduled for Wednesday was shifted by the league body to allow Enyimba FC honour a league tie against Niger Tornadoes.

Sunshine Queens FC who occupy the number one position on the abridged league table following convincing wins against Abia Angels and Jokodolu Babes have already arrived Calabar for their first away game of the season.

The Betty Babes are boosted with the return of Flamingoes dazzling attacker Bolaji Olamide who has been on the sideline for weeks following a minor injury.
