After suffering defeat on match day one of the National Women Soccer League, Super Falcons forward  Francisca Ordega and her Washington Spirit teammates bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Orlando pride on match day 2.

After a goalless first half, Spirit scored two goals in eight minutes courtesy Mallory Pugh (80’) and Ashley Hatch (88’) giving maximum points to the homers.

Francisca Ordega was in action for 80 minutes and gave a good account of herself until she was subbed off for Eubanks.
