Shooting Stars produced another dreadful home performance losing to FC Ifeanyi Ubah 0-3 in the NPFL Matchday 20 encounter at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan on Sunday.
The visitors exploited Shooting Stars’ weakness and lack of leadership in defence, scoring in the second minute of the game through Godwin Obaje. Seka Pascal doubled his side’s lead 13 minutes after the opening the goal as the Anambra Warriors took a two-goal lead.
Shooting Stars failed to reduce the deficit in the 27th minute when the centre referee awarded a penalty for the host team after FC Ifeanyi Ubah defender handled the ball inside the box. Adebayo Abayomi poor penalty kick was calmly saved by FC Ifeanyi Ubah goalkeeper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa.

Obaje, last season’s top scorer with 18 goals at Wikki Tourists scored his seventh goal for the Anamabra Warriors and his first away goal since his big money bag transfer.
“We started the season poorly but we were able to pick up late in the first round. The mid-season break was helpful, the manager got enough time to work on our lapses and the team tactical set up.
“I am delighted we started the second stanza with away victory against a decent team. Honestly, Shooting Stars played well but we were more organized and we converted our chances.
