Odemwingie completes move to Indonesian club


Former Super Eagles winger cum striker Peter Osaze Odemwingie has completed his switch to Indonesian Division one league side Madura United.

Osaze who parted ways with English championship side Rotherham United after a not too impressive stint at the club, finally completed his move to the Indonesian league on Monday.

No details about contract for 35-year-old Odemwingie was revealed but the player has been handed the Number 24 jersey which was presented to him in presence of club President Achsanul Qosasi and the club manager Haruna Sumitro in an event that was held in Jakarta.

He has previously featured for Cardiff, Stoke City and West Bromwich Albion FC in the English Premier League and became the third high profile signing after the duo of Michael Eseien and Carlton Cole to join the Indonesian first divison club.
