Coach Gbenga Ogunbote has stated that he is open to any club that needs his services as his contract with Enyimba Intl FC runs out.
Ogunbote admits he is unsure about his future with the People’s Elephant while stating he remains a free agent after the expiration of his one year contract.
The former Shooting Stars tactician who has been linked to jobs at top Nigerian Professional Football League outfits said he will love to continue his good work with Enyimba if the club opens discussion with him, but didn’t rule out joining another club side.
“Let’s see what will happen in the coming days but as of now, I’m open to discussions with other clubs,” said Ogunbote. “But if I would still continue with the People’s Elephant, only time will tell.”
Asked how he felt About Enyimba talking to Imama Amapakabo and Ghanaian coach Maxwell Konadu, the 54-year-old gaffer said hence his contract has expired, Enyimba is free to talk to any coach of her choice and he’s also free to open discussion with any team that needs his service.
The former Sharks coach added: “I actually didn’t feel bad on Enyimba contacting other coaches. We are all professionals and I also don’t believe they will feel bad if other clubs are contacting me for my service. If your contract expires, the club will have to talk to you for a renewal or you move on if you see a better offer.
