Coach of Enugu Rangers, Gbenga Ogunbote is optimistic that results will turn in their favour as they travel to Nnewi to face FC Ifeanyi Ubah in one of the Nigeria Professional Football League Match day 18 games.
Rising from a disappointing goalless draw at home to Kwara United, Ogunbote and his men face a challenging task ahead as they lock horns with FC Ifeanyi Ubah who have struggled so far this season.
In a chat with www.naijafootballplus.com, the tactician assured that his team is fully prepared for the Oriental Derby and unarguably one of the star matches of the weekend.
“We have done what we could do to prepare the team for the challenge ahead,” said Gbenga Ogunbote.
“It is a derby and it’s a big one, so we expect that with our preparation we want to believe that we have done enough by God’s grace that will get us a favourable result.”
Enugu Rangers are 7th on the Nigeria Professional Football League table with 23 points, while FC Ifeanyi Ubah sit 13th with 21 points.
Though FC Ifeanyi Ubah are not among the top ten teams, the Anambra Warriors have an unbeaten home record this season, winning 6, drawing 3 and loosing 7.
