Newly appointed Rangers International Football Club Technical adviser Gbenga Ogunbote is sure the Flying Antelopes will not struggle in the new Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season after the club battled the drop last season.
Ogunbote, a former Enyimba International, Shooting Stars and Sunshine Stars FC tactician, was unveiled as Rangers’ new head of their technical crew on Wednesday in Enugu.
Ogunbote told Naijafootballplus that he has got assuring words from the management of the club, that the club won’t have issues with finances and other logistics to ensure a successful season.
“It’s a great honour and privilege to have been appointed as the head coach of this great club and that with everyone in the club contributing their quota towards the development of the side, next season will also rank amongst the best for this club,” said Ogunbote.
“The management and sponsors of this club gave their support and assurance to me and they promised a smooth running of the club as we want to take Rangers back to where it belongs. We will live on the recent glory and also improve on every area necessary to improve on and I hope we will have enough time for adequate preparations for the upcoming season”, Ogunbote submitted.
