Ola Aina gets FIFA Clearance

World football governing body, FIFA has granted Hull City defender, Ola Aina the permission to feature for Nigeria.

The Chelsea loanee, who represented England at age-grade levels, was
ineligible to don the all green jersey of Nigeria on Friday when his fellow
invitees mauled the Indomitable lions of Cameroon 4-0 in Uyo due to unfinished clearance but could feature in Yaounde on Monday for the second leg after his eligibility paperwork has been ironed out.

“It’s double celebration for us. Aina’s clearance has come through from
FIFA, and he could feature for Nigeria in Yaounde,” an authoritative source
informed Completesportsnigeria.com.

The Super Eagles will be travelling to Yaounde in top form and are on top of
the group with 9 maximum points gained from 3 games and any point nicked
from across the Bakassi on Monday will further quicken their journey to Russia 2018 World Cup.
