The gaffer who lured Ola Aina over to the KCOM stadium, Leonid Slutsky has parted company with Hull City over uninspiring performances and poor run of results, the championship club have announced.
Slutsky only managed 4 wins from 19 league games since he replaced the departed Marco Silva last June and has plunged the team in the relegation zone.
The announcement was made in a statement released on the club’s website on Sunday which revealed that both parties (the club and Slutsky) parted ways on mutual consent.

“The Club can confirm that it has parted company with Head Coach Leonid
Slutsky by mutual consent following discussions today.” The statement read.
The 46-year-old acquired Ola Aina on loan from Chelsea and despite grumbles on the abilities of the Nigerian, he stood by him and made him an almost ubiquitous figure for ‘the Tigers’ throughout his time at the helm.
