Super Eagles forward Kayode Olarenwaju will return to Austria on Monday 26 June in a bid to resume pre-season training with his current club Austria Wien.
Interestingly, the highest goal scorer in the Austrian league for last season has no intention of continuing his career with Austria Wien next season, as clubs from around Europe are beginning to prepare bids for the former Flying Eagles star.
His agent is scheduled to travel to Russia to meet up with the managements of Lokomotiv Moscow, CSKA Moscow and Spartak Moscow – top Russian clubs – who are said to be interested in his services according to Austrian newspaper Kronen Zeitung.
There is also interest from Portuguese league side Vitoria Guimaraes, who are hoping to replace departed striker Francisco Soares (to FC Porto) with Olarenwaju.
Kayode scored a total of 24 goals in all competitions for Austria Wien last season.
His fine club run earned him a debut for the Nigerian national team in a friendly against Senegal in May.
