Nigeria Super Eagles forward, Kayode Olarenwaju received his first marching order in the Ukrainian Premier League, as he was sent off on Friday in Shaktar Donetsk 1-0 win against Desna.
Shaktar hosted Desna and the clash lived up to the billings with the away side proving a hard nut to crack and ensured the first stanza ended goalless.
Olarenwaju started the game and was handful for Desna defenders until the 65th minute when he was sent off for dangerous play.
It was Mayco Barberan who eventually broke the deadlock in the 88th minute and ensured that Shaktar went away with maximum 3 points.
The Former Austria Wien striker joined the Ukrainian champions from English Premier League side Manchester City, last summer and is gradually bouncing back to reckoning after he recovered from the injury that actually kept him out for some time.
