Former Super Eagles captain and coach Sunday Oliseh produced a master stroke to help Fortuna Sittard dispatch Dordrecht 5 – 1 in the opening weekend of the Dutch Jupiler League.
The emphatic victory sees coach Sunday Oliseh’s tutored side sit atop the Eerste Divisie (Dutch second division) table after the first round of games played so far in the 2017/2018 season.
Golas from Lisandro Semedo in the 15th minute, a double from F. Stokkers and strikes from André Vidigal and S. Ashkovski made Hamer’s 64th minute goal a mare consolation.
Coach Sunday Oliseh took over the reigns at Fortuna Sittard in the second stanza of last season. He steared them away from relegation and into a playoff position that was eventually nullified by points deduction due to some breach of ethics by the club.
It is a healthy start for the super Eagles class of 94 AFCON winning star and his team as they seek to gain promotion to the top division.
