Former Super Eagles captain and coach Sunday Oliseh watched on from the bench as his Fortuna Sittard team lost 0-1 away to 10-man Cambur FC in the Dutch Eerste Divisie on Friday night.

Cambur FC wasted no time as they shot into an early lead through Marvin Peersman after only 2mins played to set back any initial plans by manager Oliseh and his boys.

The goal proved to be the winner as Oliseh and his young wards paid the price for a slow start.

Cambur were clearly the dominant side bossing possession until Bryan Smeets was shown a straight red card in the 32nd minute, to aid Sittard into getting some measure of pressure on their host.

Despite some attacking changes made by coach Sunday Oliseh, his team failed to find the equalizer against 10-men Cambur.

Oliseh’s Sittard remain in third position on the log with 23 points after 13 matches and still within the playoff spots.

Up next for Oliseh and his boys is a home game against Go Ahead Eagles who are in 8th position.
