Omoyele grabbed the winner for the Omoluabi Giants in their 1-0 victory over visiting Unicem Rovers in a match played behind closed doors at the Osogbo City stadium on sunday. The goal was his 9th of the season in Nigeria’s second tier league
Omoyele previously missed their last three engagements through a mid-season transfer controversy.

Oyibo as he’s fondly called by the Osogbo fans said he was thrilled that the team have returned to winning ways after they picked two points in their previous two games.
He opined that the win against Unicem Rovers which has taken them to 30 points from 21 matches will be the beginning of positive things in store for the Omoluabi giants.
“I’m happy to score again and most importantly that the team is back to winning ways. It’s a collective performance, dedication and determination from my team-mates.
“I want to thank my coaches and the fans too for their trust, advice, prayers and words of admonition for me and my team-mates but they should try as much as possible to stay solidly behind us and not in a violent manner as it happened against Akwa Starlets. I can assure them that better things will come for this team through peaceful atmosphere”, the striker said.
Osun United will travel away to Owerri to cross swords with Papilo FC in their next game at the Dan Anyiam stadium this weekend.
