Osun United striker, Omoyele Tosin has said that taking all three points off visitors Go Round FC in this weekend’s Bet9ja Nigeria National League encounter is ‘non-negotiable’.

Omoyele struck late against Gateway United on Wednesday at the Otunba Dipo Dina stadium, Ijebu-ode but unfortunately the goal couldn’t salvage a point for his side as they lost 2-1 to the Ogun state outfit.

The former COD united goal poacher urged Osun United players to move on from that defeat and focus on the next match rather than dwell on the past.

“I always like to shift focus on the next match to improve on the past. It is quiet painful that we lost the game against Gateway United after we created numerous chances. But that is game of football.

“I wouldn’t want to rue our missing chances against Gateway United. We are the team in the making and there is progress, game after game. We will be a team to beat very soon. I believe the technical crew are working tirelessly to ensure we are radical in-front of goal.

“The game against Go Round FC this weekend is non-negotiable. We are ready for their test and we will triumph over them. We must also improve on our goal scoring form and concede less so as to achieve our target this season”, Omoyele told naijafootballplus.com

He however charged‚Äč the fans to troop out in their numbers to support the ‘believe and achieve’ side as he stated that their support play an important role for his side

“I don’t think the coach is building a team around selected player(s), he only want a team that every player can score even the defenders. I am not particularly interested in individual praises but collective effort will make¬†us achieve a great success. If i put the ball in the back of the net, my team mates come around to rejoice and celebrate with me and if any other player scores, then it is a thing of joy and we must keep this going for our own benefit”, he concluded.

Osun United are placed 7th on the log with ten points, 6 points adrift of the 2nd placed Go Round FC whom they will meet on saturday in the week eight of the Nigeria National League NNL at the Osogbo city stadium.
