Denmark where lanky striker Paul Onuachu made a goal scoring return after a two-week injury layoff for Midtjylland FC in their 5-1 demolition of Hobro.
Onuachu scored the fourth goal in the 88th minute after coming on as a sub in the 64th minute.
His Nigerian teammate Rilwan Hassan got an assist in the 61st minute before he was subbed off later on.
In Belgium, Taiwo Awoniyi scored the only goal for Royal Excel Mouscron in their 1-2 loss to Zulte-Waregem who had another Nigerian striker in Peter Olayinka leading their attack.
Awoniyi opened scores for Royal Mouscron in the 15th minute before Zulte Weregem rallied to secure all three points, however, Nigerian forward Peter Olayinka was not on the score sheet but was booked in the 33rd minute.
