After a long injury lay off, Super Eagles forward Henry Onyekuru has resumed outfield training and ball work.
The speedy winger who is on loan to Belgian jupiler league side Anderlecht from English premier league club Everton FC damaged his ligament while playing for Anderlecht against former club, Eupen in a Belgium league match.
He returned to his parent club Everyone where doctors certified that his injury will not require surgery.
He started his rehabilitation with the Toffees before he returned to Anderlecht for continuation of his recovery.
He posted a video of his resumption to outfield training on his instagram page, appreciating fans for their support.
“I am so grateful to able to be back running and back with the ball at my feet. It’s been a journey. Thank you all for your prayer and support. The Lord is truly my strength”.
Onyekuru might play a part for Anderlecht in the Belgian jupiler league play off if he regains his fitness quickly.
