Onyekuru out for six weeks, doubtful for South Africa clash

After representing the Super Eagles of Nigeria at the 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Libya, striker Henry Onyekuru has been ruled out of action for up to 6 six weeks due to hamstring injury.

The Former Eupen forward played as a substitute in both qualifiers and also assisted Samuel Kalu for the 4th goal in the first leg.

The injury means Onyekuru will not be available for 3 of Galatasaray’s champions league matches and also the clash with Fenerbahce.

The lenghty injury might also affect his participation for Nigeria in the qualifier against Bafana Bafana of South Africa on match day 5 of the qualifier in November.
