quick to get off the mark when Verdi scored just 3 minutes after kickoff.

The second half was dominated by the numerically superior Sampdoria side, who
threatened to get a goal back which will lunch a probable come back.

Then came Super sub, Orji Okonkwo, who was boldly thrown in to replace
the scorer of the first goal Verdi in the 69th minute, with many expecting a defensive change.

Okonkwo then scored on the counter in the 73rd minute from a pass by Godfred Donsah and made it 3-0 .

Orji Okonkwo still 19 years of age, has now scored two goals in two straight games as a substitute for Bologna following his effort against Hellas Verona only on Monday night.
