Oshoala, Oparanozie questions NFF’s plans for Super Falcons

The duo of Nigeria Super Falcon stars China based Asisat Oshoala and France based Desire Oparanozie has called on the Nigeria Football Federation to organise quality friendlies for the Super Falcons.

Since emerging African Champions in Cameroon, in December 2016, the team has never been together either for a friendly or any competitive game.

Oshoala and Oparanozie took to their social media pages on Tuesday afternoon to show their dissatisfaction.

Oshoala wrote: “over 8 month without regrouping……. THIS NO LONGER ACCEPTABLE. What is your vision? We need explanation. I love my country. #superfalconsofnigeria #nff #equality”

Oparanozie on her part wrote: “since nations cup, no form of regrouping whatsoever. Which way Nigeria Football Federation?

“Other African nations has caught with us, we’re still a shadow of ourselves at world stage….yet it doesn’t bother people leading us.

“Let’s build for younger generations. We need quality international friendly games. #wespeakinonevoice #Thisnolongeracceptable #Equaltreatment. #NFF #CAF #FIFA”

Both players played pivotal roles in Nigeria emerging champions of Africa Women Cup of Nations in December.
