The hamstring injury coped by Super Eagles and Wolverhampton Wanderers first choice goalkeeper Carl Ikeme has become a cause for concern for manager of championship side, Paul Lambert.
Ikeme who sat out the international friendly game between Nigeria and Senegal last thursday in London has been instrumental to the rejuvenated form of the side recently. Wolves are aiming to continue their fine recent run and record a fourth consecutive win to pull further clear of the Championship relegation zone.
Paul Lambert further expressed that “Carl is down presently and we are having to monitor him. We will see how he is,” said Lambert.
“It’s a bit early to say for the weekend. We will see how it develops and if he is going to be OK.”
