December is here, January is close by, many anticipations and expectations from different individuals (Coaches, Players, Fans) ahead of the upcoming NPFL 2017/2018 season.
Enugu Rangers’ Striker, Kelvin Itoya, is in an ebullient mood ahead of the season and has labelled Enugu Rangers the ‘team to beat’ next season.
The striker revealed this on monday evening in a chat with Naijafootballplus.com.
“Well, we are currently on pre season training and every player is working so hard, knowing fully well that we have a hard working coach in the person of Gbenga Ogunbote.
I can say preparations are going on smoothly and fine…By the time we are done with pre season training, I can assure you that with the caliber of players we have, we are going to be a team to beat in the forth coming season” Itoya said emphatically.
He also went further, discussing personal expectations in having a good season.
“Personally I want to have a very good season because it’s the wish of every player to do well in the entire season, but utmostly to help my club do well is most imperative.
I don’t have any personal expectations right now other than my team doing well in all competitions, because when my team does well, I have also done well” said Itoya.
