Red-hot Onyekuru nets winner for Eupen

Obafemi Martins finds his groove


In-form and high on demand Nigerian striker, Henry Onyekuru was on target for Eupen as he scored the winning goal in their 2-1 win over Kortrijk in the Belgian league playoffs.

Onyekuru who is wanted by several Premier League sides including West Brom, Southampton and Scottish champions Celtic scored in the 13th minute after Ocansey had initially put Eupen one goal ahead.

Meanwhile, in far away China, Nigerian striker Obafemi Martins scored for Shanghai Shenhua as they defeated Guizhou Hengfeng 2-0 away. It was the former Inter Milan striker first goal in the Chinese Super League.

In Spain, Elderson Echiejile was an unused substitute as his side sporting Gijon secured a 2-2 draw away at Osasuna in a LaLiga match.

While over in Germany, Leon Balogun came on from the bench in the 52nd minute to help Mainz 05 secure a huge 2-2 away draw at run away Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich.
