Most goals scored in a tournament:

Just Fontaine of France with 13 goals in the 1958 World Cup.

Most goals scored in a match:

Was five goals by Oleg Salenko ( Russia ), vs
Cameroon, 1994.

Most goals scored in a lost match:

Was four goals by Ernest Wilimowski ( Poland), against
Brazil , 1938.

Most goals scored in a final match:

Three goals by Geoff Hurst ( England ) against West Germany in 1966.

Most goals scored in all final matches:

Three goals by Vavá ( Brazil ): Two goals scored in the final against Sweden in 1958, and another goal against Czechoslovakia in 1962.

Pelé ( Brazil ), two goals against Sweden in 1958 and one goal vs Italy in 1970.

Geoff Hurst of England, has the record for the only hat-trick scored in a final, three goals against West Germany in 1966.

Zinedine Zidane ( France ), two goals vs Brazil in 1998 and one goal against Italy in 2006.
