The president of Nigeria Football Federation, NFF Amaju Melvin Pinnick has confirmed that Super Eagles Coach Gernot Rohr, has confirmed the new deal tabled before him.
The country’s football governing body offered the Franco-German manager a two new year deal, after he successfully led the senior men national team to next year’s world cup in Russia.
The president of the federation confirmed his acceptance through the twitter handle of @foxsportsafrica on Friday morning.
“Amaju Pinnick, the @thenff president, has confirmed that Gernot Rohr has accepted the new contract offer from the football body. “We offered him a new contract which he has accepted,” said Pinnick.
The coming of the German coach has re-enacted the confidence of millions of Nigerians in the Super Eagles, with the way he has handled the team on and off the pitch since his appointment.
