Rohr arrives Russia ahead of World Cup draw

Ahead of Friday’s 2018 FIFA World Cup draw, Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has landed in Moscow, Russia to witness the draw.

The Nigeria senior men’s team qualified for the biggest football show piece after they secured top spot in a group which had the likes of Cameroon, Algeria and Zambia where they amassed 14 points from 6 matches.

Rohr arrived in Moscow on Wednesday night in order to witness the draw scheduled for Friday December 1, 2017.

Nigeria has been placed in pot 4 and will hope for a favourable group pairing in Friday’s draw.

This would be the Super Eagles sixth appearance at the World Cup with the first coming in 1994. They are one of five countries to represent Africa at next year’s World Cup.
