Super Eagles Coach, Gernot Rohr who is expected to submit his 35-man provisional roster for the World Cup in less than two weeks time has been handed a big boost after Ado Den Haag’s right back, Tyronne Ebuehi bounced back to full training following a worrying spell on the sidelines.
On Thursday morning, the Super Eagles defender participated in full training with his teammates, showing signs of having gotten back to match fitness and is well in contention to be selected in Den Haag’s team which would trade tackles with PSV Eindhoven in their next league game on Sunday.
Ebuehi has struggled to shake off a groin injury and has not been in tip-top condition for Nigeria’s friendly games against Poland and Serbia and have even missed league games versus Excelsior, Sparta Rotterdam, FC Utrecht and Heerenveen for his club in the Eredivisie.
After the training session, the 22-year old was seen granting interviews to Dutch newspapers, De Volkskrant and Algemeen Dagblad as well as BBC Radio.
To re-confirm his return, Ado Den Haag’s manager, Alfons Groenendijk made the revelation at his press conference, insisting the Harlem-born starlet would be closely monitored before he would be allowed to take unto the pitch again.
