Naijafootballplus.com can report that Super Eagles Franco-German coach, Gernot Rohr is currently in Lagos to watch the duo of MFM FC attackers, Stephen Odey and Sikiru Olatubosun.
Rohr was spotted at the Agege Stadium on Wednesday during the Nigeria National League Matchday five encounter between AS Racine and Warri Wolves in which AS Racine won the game 2-1.
Top official of the top flight club divulged to Naijafootballplus.com that the Super Eagles gaffer has confirmed to the club he is in Lagos to watch Odey and Olatunbosun in training and their NPFL encounter against Elkanemi Warriors on Sunday.
Rohr told press men in Lagos after the game on Wednesday that he is in Lagos to watch the NPFL top scorer and winner of CNN Goal of the week.
“I am in Nigeria to look at all the domestic players and I know MFM FC has a very good team. It is an opportunity for me to see Odey and Sikiru. Hopefully, we can see more exciting players.
“I have heard about Odey and Sikiru but I will tell you my outlook after the game on Sunday. I have seen a lot of statistics on Odey and Sikiru. When a player is scoring a lot of goals why not invite them to the CHAN team or even the Super Eagles A team,” said Rohr.
