Super Eagles forward Osaze Odemwingie has regretted his inability to make the Nigeria squad for the Russia 2018 World Cup.
The skilful striker was on standby list for Super Eagles during Japan & Korea World Cup in 2002 and was part of the 2010 and 2014 squad.
His inability to play top flight football might have been responsible for his omission from the team.
Former West Bromwich Albion and Stoke City striker shows his frustration via his twitter handle on his way to Russia and he also declared support for Nigeria.
“On my way to moscow! Mum is waiting 😍😋. Still good enough to be in Naija squad but nothing spoil. Happy to be there for some media work. Rooting for 🇷🇺 🇳🇬 🏴 🇧🇪 🇫🇷 ⚽️🏆#RUSSIA_2018”.
Osaze scored Nigeria only goal in the 1-0 win over Bosnia at the 2014 World Cup.
