In readiness for the upcoming 2018 African Nation Championship Qualification, Super Eagles assistant coach Salisu Yusuf has confirmed that the players they intended to use for the qualifiers are ready.
Speaking on Friday, Salisu confirmed that he has over 46 players on his card in which his scouting network has helped him pick.
“I have over 46 players in my scouting report; young and exceptional players,” he said.
Salisu went on to confirm that the CHAN team will have four goalkeepers. He further stressed on the need of the NPFL stars to put effort during the qualification games.
“The players are focused and despite everything, they know our qualification will benefit their careers,” he concluded.
Nigeria will face the winner between Togo and Benin Republic in August 2017 in the CHAN qualifiers, the tournament will be hosted by Kenya in 2018.
