Shehu Abdullahi who currently plays for Buraspor Fc of Turkey, a club he joined only in January, was a key member of the Super Eagles team that failed to soar high in the just concluded FIFA World Cup.

Born on 12th of March 1993 in northern Nigeria state of Sokoto, the 25 years old has had quite the adventure in his early career that has seen him swell his pockets reasonably.

From joining Al-Qadisiya of Kuwait on 19th of July 2014 from Nigerian club side Kano Pillars, to his first move to Europe with Uniao Madeira of Portugal in 2015, before making another leap to Anorthosis Famagusta of Cyprus in 2016.


Shehu Abdullahi has grown steadily as a person and a professional football player.

Shehu Abdullahi’s move to Turkish club Bursaspor with a transfer of $369,831 on a  two and a half -year deal worth annual salary in the region of €50,000 from his weekly wages of €1000.

Shehu’s net worth is figured around $350,000, but it is estimated to increase by 85.7 % reaching $650,000 by the end of 2018.

The somewhat conservative player reveals what he deems sufficient about his private and professional life, for instance, there are no details about his house or other properties, no outlandish display of fast cars and fashionable wardrobes.

There are no revelations pertaining  endorsement deals or other off the field financial generating ventures from the player.

Shehu Abdullahi is described as a lovable and caring husband according to his beautiful wife, Sumayya Mustapha, a union that is blessed with a son.
