South Africa resume camp, to arrive Lagos Wednesday


South Africa senior national male football team, Bafana Bafana have resumed camping ahead of the 2019 AFCON qualifier against Nigeria on 10th of June at the Nest of Champions, Uyo, can report.

The Bafana Bafana contingent are scheduled to arrive in Lagos on Wednesday via South Africa airways. The visitors would later connect a domestic flight to Uyo.

South Africa coach, Stuart Baxter has invited 24 players for the Matchday one encounter in the AFCON qualifiers.

South Africa midfielder, Kamohelo Mokotjo of FC Twente has been withdrawn from the Bafana Bafana squad through to injury and has been replaced in the squad by Lebogang  Phiri.

“We have have resume camping today (Sunday) and we are expected to arrive in Lagos on Wednesday before connecting another flight to Uyo,” SAFA head of communication, Dominic Chimhavi informed from his base in South Africa.

However, Super Eagles have also resumed camping in Abuja after a two-day break for the players.

ADO Den Haag right-back Tyronne Ebuehi is one of the first early arrival in the Super Eagles camp.
