With few days to the commencement of Russia 2018 World Cup, one of the Nigeria’s Super Eagles players to the tournament Etebo Oghenekaro has sorted out his future.
The newly relegated English side Stoke City announced they have sealed the transfer of the former Warri Wolves midfielder on it’s twitter handle on Tuesday while welcoming the player.
Etebo who was on loan to the Spanish La Liga side UD Las Palmas was signed from CD Feirense for a whooping €7.2m in a five year deal.
“#WelcomeEtebo Stoke City are delighted to announce the signing of Nigerian international Oghenekaro Peter Etebo on a five-year contract The 22-year-old midfielder joins the Potters from Portuguese side Feirense for a fee of €7.2million” the tweets stated.
The potters was relegated at the end of last season after a decade of top flight football.
Etebo will join the like of Osaze Odemwingie and Victor Moses who played for the club in the past.
