Out-of-favour former Super Eagles and Hearts of Midlothian left-back Juwon Oshaniwa has vowed to fight for his position in the Scottish club side.
Oshaniwa who joined Hearts from Israeli clubside Ashdod in 2015 has dropped down the pecking order since the beginning of this season making a handful of appearances for the Tynecastle club.
“People have been asking me what’s going on in Scotland, and the only explanation I can give is that – this is football – I can’t give up. I know giving up is not an option so I’ll keep up the fight, he said.
“I still want to represent my country and its only regular football at my club that will earn me regular call-up.”.
Oshaniwa who represented Nigeria in the last World Cup in Brazil, has made 25 appearances for Hearts since his arrival and has 17 caps for Nigeria.
