Super Eagles B team will play their first test game against Kano Pillars Feeders at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano on Friday morning, Naijafootballplus.com can report.
According to media officer of the Super Eagles, Toyin Ibitoye, the CHAN team will face Kano Pillars Feeders tomorrow morning in their first tune-up game.
“We are playing against Kano Pillars Feeders team tomorrow, that will be our first test game as the team continue to prepare for the qualifiers in Kano,” Ibitoye said to Naijafootballplus.com on Thursday.
In another development, Ibitoye has confirmed the national team coaches have decided to release players to their clubs for league games this weekend.
Kano Pillars duo of Rabiu Ali and Jamiu Alimi, Emeka Atuloma of Rivers United have been released for today’s NPFL rescheduled fixture between Kano Pillars and Rivers United in Kano.
“The coaches have decided to release players for league matches, but the clubs must ensure the players don’t make long haul travels by road. The stress and fatigue of long road trips affect the players output in training, which impacts negatively on our preparations for the qualifiers.
“Clubs that seriously want their players for this weekend’s games at venues that are too far to access by road from Kano should endeavour to send them flight tickets or risk not having them released from camp,” Ibitoye revealed.
