Super Eagles players on Thursday showed their solidarity for ailing Super Eagles goalkeeper Carl Ikeme.

Ikeme was diagnosed of acute leukemia about four months ago which automatically ruled him out of football action for both club and country.

The players and the technical crew put on a T-shirt having the picture of the goaltender, to encourage and increase his faith.

Ikeme has since been undergoing chemotherapy in London in order to recover on time. Meanwhile, the players have promised to dedicate their victory over Cameroon in the upcoming 2018 world cup qualifier to the goalkeeper.

Nigeria will lock horns with the indomitable Lions of Cameroon on friday September 1, at the Gods will Akpabio stadium Uyo.
