Super Falcons defender Ngozi Ebere has spoken of how happy she is to have completed a shock transfer from PSG Ladies to Cypriot side Barcelona FA.
The former Rivers Angels defender joins Barcelona FA from French Division 1 Féminine club Paris Saint-Germain, where she spent two years.
“Limassol is a very beautiful city and I also love the weather of your island. I’m really very happy about my choice of playing at Barcelona FA Women,” Ebere told allaboutsoccer.net.
“I feel very good playing for the team which was a great challenge for me and I came to the team to reinforce it with my experience and lead it to success.”
Ebere also set some personal targets for herself. She added: “my personal goal is no more than giving my 100% of my ability to help as much as I can. I love this group, I love the girls and I think there is a very young talent in our team that will help the team very much.
“We want to lead Barcelona FA Women on the road to success and this is the only place in Cyprus and Barcelona FA Women. I am here to write history and win titles with Barcelona FA.”
