Nigeria born Chelsea loanee Tammy Abraham has restated he is committed to Bristol City in the ongoing English Championship season but outlined he dreams of playing in the Premier league come next season despite the speculation surrounding his future.
Abraham who netted his 20th and 21st goal of the season against Wolverhampton Wanderers on saturday has been linked to various clubs both in and out of England even though coach of his parent club Antonio Conte has since confirmed Chelsea have plans of bringing back Abraham to Stamford Bridge with the future of main striker Diego Costa staying at the club still in doubt.
“It’s something that’s played with my mind. I’ve asked myself the same question and I’ll ask my parents and see what my agents are saying but I think I need to get through this season first and finish on a high,” said Abraham.
“It would obviously be a dream for me to be playing in the Premier League but I have to focus here first.
“I love this club, I like to give my all and show everyone what I’m really made of. Not just the goals, but my desire to help this team to stay in the division”.
Meanwhile, English premier league defending champions Leicester City are reportedly lining up a summer move for Tammy Abraham who has hit 24 goals on loan at Bristol City from Chelsea this season.
Foxes boss Craig Shakespeare is understood to have sent David Flitcroft to watch Abraham recently and it seems he liked what he saw.
