After so much discussion and negotiation, Czech Republic side, Slavia Prague has succeeded in capturing Nigerian midfielder Peter Olayinka.
The discussion has been ongoing in the past days but Bulgian side KAA Gent who owns Olayinka rejected the initial fee offered for the offensive player by Prague.
After personal terms was agreed with the player, Slavia returned to the negotiations table with Gent and the deal was finally agreed at ¢3.2m for four-year deal.
Olayinka expressed his happiness after the move was concluded and also hint on what to expect from him.
“I am very happy, when I learned about going to Slavia and returning to Prague, I was happy and it attracts me because Slavia is the biggest club in Czech football, “Olayinka told the club’s official website after penning the contract.
Olayinka spent last season on loan with Zulte Warengem bagging seven goals in 20 appearances for the club.
