Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL champions, Plateau United have intensified their effort to have another successful season in both the continent and the domestic arena as they bolstered their squad with the arrival of new players.
The Jos outfit’s latest inclusion is Osun United striker, Tosin Omoyele who just penned a deal with the Pyramid city club yesterday evening.
Omoyele had a successful season with Nigeria National League side Osun United, scoring 15 times and has been a subject of transfer speculation in the last couple of weeks, and now has finally joined a club he said he admires so much due to their zeal in becoming Champions.
“I’m happy I’m joining Plateau United. They are the League champions and they have the zeal to defend the title. They have a very wonderful gaffer, Kennedy Boboye who believes in giving young players the chance to exploit their skills. I believe mine won’t be an exception.
“I want to give my very best to this team. I want to add to their attack and we will together achieve a great success in our campaign in the CAF champions League and domestic competitions”, Omoyele told naijafootballplus.com.
“I’m grateful to God, my former team mates, my coaches and my fans for their support.
We shall reach the peak of our career very soon and we will always meet at the top. God bless you all as you are all part my of story”, he concluded.
Other players who have also reportedly been signed by the NPFL champions are King Osanga, Charles Helong among others.
