Nigeria Olympic bronze medalist and AS Roma striker Sadiq Umar has joined another Serie A side Torino on a season-long loan deal.
Umar who has been in and out of the Gillarossi team, proved himself during the pre-season scoring two goals in three games which prompted Torino into making a move for the bean pole striker.
Umar will now join Super Eagles midfielder Joel Obi in the Torino team.
“Sadiq joins Torino on a temporary deal that runs until 30 June 2018. As part of the agreement, Torino have the option to make the transfer permanent for an agreed fee.
In that case, Roma will retain a counter-option to re-sign the player,” a statement on the website of the club reads.
