An instant return of Neymar Da Silva to Barcelona has been blocked by UEFA, as both PSG and the Catalan club were seeded in Pot 2 for the UEFA Champions League group stage draws slated for later today in Monaco.
The Brazilian, who made a controversial switch between these two clubs for a record €222M won’t be returning to Catalonia to boos and jeers anytime soon as both teams are amidst the second seeded teams which comprises of the two Manchester clubs and Athletico de Madrid.
The current Ol’ big ears and LaLiga champions, Real Madrid head the top seeded teams alongside last season’s finalists and Italian champions Juventus and the reigning English Premier League champions Chelsea, who are returning after missing out of last season’s edition, and other champions across UEFA top 8 nations.
The draw will be held by 6pm local time.
